It seems like it must have been very long ago that buttons to call elevators were this elaborate. But how long ago can it have been, since it was recent enough that elevators were already in existence? This is from a building that is split in two - one half is the Cook County Building, the other half is City Hall. The details of the building are worthy of a whole series of photos.
