Katieroy was here
Last night after her bath but before being dressed in her pajamas, Katie grabbed onto the crib railing and pulled herself up to a standing position. At this point in her development, she usually uses five balancing points: right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg, and mouth. Not a tripod - a quintapod? A pentapod?
I usually don't like pictures taken with a flash (or at least pictures taken with my particular camera's flash), but this one is an exception. Geoff took this picture last night. (You can see my cropped and Photoshopped version here.) Geoff says that when he puts out his first album, this will be the picture on the cover.

Katie just has to be the cutest baby on the 'net! (Sorry all you other Mommy-bloggers - they're all cute, but something about Katie -- maybe because she looks like my daughter as a baby!)
