Katie practiced walking on Saturday. I'm pretty sure it was the first time the bottoms of her little feet felt sidewalk underneath them. She had a good time.

I've been reading all about Katie & enjoying your wonderful photos for a while now, but this is the first time I've ever posted. I just read the piece over at DotMoms, and it compelled me to finally reply to your journal. Katie is a *gorgeous* baby. If my children are half as adorable and happy as she seems to be, I will consider myself one of the most blessed people on this planet.
Katie is so lucky to have parents who love her and will encourage her to be happy about who she is. If Sue can't appreciate how unbelievably beautiful your little girl is, well, it's just Sue's loss.
